I was one of those surprise babies. My parents were actually in the process of getting divorced when my mother found out she was pregnant.  Needless to say she was more than shocked. Especially since my parents were already forty-five years old.  They'd tried for years after my older brother Blake was born to have another one, and it always failed. 

Blake was the one who practically raised me. Sure mom was there, but then she'd take off on some sightseeing trip with whatever guy she was seeing at the time. Blake was twenty-six when I was born and already married to the love of his life Grady Rodgers. Yes he's gay and if anyone has a problem with that then I'll kick their ass! 

Blake was married at CAP, and where he ended up getting a job. Once he started here I was sent to live with him. Which is fine with me. I love Blake and Grady.  It's a lot better than living with my mom with her slew of dirty old men in and out of the apartment. 

I see dad on holidays for a few minutes, but he has a whole other life that Blake and I are not a part of.  You see he never approved of his son being gay.  He tolerates him. Blake doesn't let it bother him though. He's more than happy with Grady and his life. Dad was the one who cheated on mom for years as well till she found out.  I've spend most of the holidays with the Rodger's family that seems to have accepted me. I'm friends with the Rodger's kids. 

I love going to school at CAP. I'm going to miss it next year when I go away to college.  Living with Blake I saw how he interacted with his old schoolmates and how close they were so I'm trying to live the same. I've made a lot of wonderful friends that I know that I'll have for life!
