History:
My name is Maverick Devlin, and I'm a southern boy. Born and raised in Kentucky. From old and new money. I really don't care about the money though. I just want to play sports. I made varsity in football and basketball my freshman year.
This year I'll be starting all over though at a new school. Not really looking forward to it, but I'll put my best foot forward. They have a hockey team there, and I've always wanted to play hockey. It wasn't offered at my old school though. I plan on going out for football here and hockey. Not for sure what else I'll try in the spring though. Did I mention this new school is an elite prep school? No well I'm trying to forget about that especially with it being a boarding school. A long way from my home.
I'm going to miss my best friends Kyle and Denver. We've been the three musketeers since preschool. We did everything together especially sports. We all lost our virginity the same night our freshman year after the Homecoming dance with our dates. Got the shit beat out of me by my dates older brothers when I took her home as well. Somebody had already spilled the beans. Unfortunately her family moved soon after that. Not that there weren't other girls. I dated off an on freshman year. I'd already had a girl picked out to ask out when school started as well, but that's not going to happen.
Why are we moving to a new school out in the middle of who knows where? Because of some stupid stalker that's after my sister Merritt. If I could catch him he wouldn't know what hit him. No one messes with my sister or my brother Mordecai. He'd broken into our house, spied on Merritt, and stabbed her ex boyfriend Clay who thank god survived it. He even tried to drag Merritt away that night, but her friends were able to stop him. Unfortunately he got away though, and no one knows where he is.
